Since I am learning from books and my books say that the way to open the shed is by moving the cards back and forth until the threads open, that is what I've been doing, could anyone here tell me if there is a way to make sure all of my shed is open so that the shuttle will pass through an open "channel" and not leave unsightly threads behind which marr the design of my band? Moving the pack back and forth several times will get the job done, but it works better if you have good tension. I like to have a little bit of resistance to my attempts to move my pack; that way I know that the threads I am moving around are nice and straight, and unlikely to get hung up and stick like yours sound like they are doing. Hope that helps, and keep up the work! Practice makes progress! Albreda/Susan **************We found the real ‘Hotel California’ and the ‘Seinfeld’ diner. What will you find? Explore WhereItsAt.com.
