Thanks for the link (I've been off the computer a while)! I have been puzzling over this and the photo makes perfect sense... the only thing I'd add is that I've been working in wool and it is a fairly sticky warp, so I don't know if I could get the twist all the way back. Interesting for other fibers though.

best,
Ercil

I have a photo of fishing swivels being used on my tablet weaving on my facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sutton-Cambs-UK/Tablet-Weaving/150438111358?v=photos&ref=ts#!/photo.php?pid=3427246&id=150438111358 <http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sutton-Cambs-UK/Tablet-Weaving/150438111358?v=photos&ref=ts#%21/photo.php?pid=3427246&id=150438111358> As Kevin says, one swivel per tablet is used. Every 80 or so turns, loosen the tension, and use the swivels to untwist any twist buildup.

Fishing swivels are one per card. The twist that builds up in the
warp can be relieved by reducing tension slightly so that the swivel
loosens enough to turn.
