Thanks for explaining it clearly Miguel. I would love to see this implemented cleanly, and further I'd ask for a P2P blocklist sharing feaure. Not a central or "canonical" blocklist, and not a default list, but the option to "publish my blocklist" and "subscribe to X's blocklist".
To prevent blocklists being used as directories of evil nodes worth following by evil people, node lists might contain hashes?
