Triggering a timer (any kind) every milli second would waste a lot of CPU ! You should avoid short time period. See the bandwidth control I've implemented in HTTP client component. The mean bandwidth is limited. Instantaneous bandwidth is not limited. btw: If you want to discuss this bandwidth limitation, please jump to the other message thread.
