I have never seen this kind of problem. I also have a client / server 
application that runs onder W2003, 2000, XP and it just works fine, I have 
also tested on windows Vista and it works great. My Client / Server app is 
more heavy, it can have transmissions for over 100mbps, but it handles 
without problem.

What version of ICS you are using? I´m using the latest v6 beta and it works 
fine.
