Isn't there a 32K limit on the NUMBER of variables .... that

Clearly UniData doesn't treat arrays that way, or Simon's second and third examples wouldn't work.
Stuart posted earlier that there was a 64000 limit on the number of elements in an array on UniVerse, but I'm not sure if there is a hard limit on UniData, and if so, what that would be.
The 64000 limit in universe has apparently been removed - if it were indeed ever there.
Verified by compiling and running a small program
defining and populating an 5M array in uv 10.0 in information flavour.
NB that in pick-flavour arrays are totally different eg. not redimensionable.
