We are missing something obvious here - can anyone assist by pointing me in the right direction (we have even read the manuals - but haven't found the vital key) We obtained a copy of Red Hat RHEL 3 from IBM to test moving to this platform. It is installed on a test PC and forms part of an isolated network with a W2003 PDC and an NT4 workstation. UV 10.1 is installed and running. Problem: We cannot telnet to this box from our NT4 workstation. We can ping the box but a plain windows NT4 telnet session gives a Connect Failed message. We can telnet into UV from the Linux server (to itself) and we can telnet out from the Linux server to the NT4 workstation (where we also have a version of UV running from a previous test), but not from NT4 into the Linux box.
