We've been running a redesigned version of their 9.1P product for a while now(5 years??). When I first started here, we had repeat issues with upgrade bugs and customization overwrites, so we decided to stop while we were ahead. I've taken it, passed it through the grinder, and modified the heck of out it for our specific use. The core logic is still DDi, but the majority of the code has been overhauled and added to. They've gone from an original release on AP/Pro to their current product for U2 on Windows. I haven't seen their full U2 product and can not vote for it or against it. I know they've added lots of add-ons to the original core. The last time I talked to anyone there, was back in 2000 I believe. I'm still trying to sort out the accounting garbage they left attached as a GL module. That's my only beef with them. They didn't write it and I have no idea who actually did. There's NO comments in any of the GL source code and the report numbers rarely balance, regardless of how I try to fix things. One of these days I'll get around to rewriting it from scratch. On the flip side, their product is generally very user friendly and has a great look and feel, compared to other products in the same feature range. I've seen them all, just about, and DDi is a really nice product for the money. If you're looking at distribution systems, give them a try. They're priced competetively(er they were). I can't vouch for support, since I've never dealt with their current support team. Man.. talk about old times.
