You should be able to access Oracle using the SQL Interface. There is a downloadable manual in Adobe on the IBM website, called "BASIC SQL Client Interface"
Universe 10 on aix 5.2 comes with the Oracle driver as standard Bob -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Carolina Lizama Sent: 05 October 2004 15:17 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [U2] Accessing Oracle from uniVerse-Basic Hi, I need to access Oracle from UniVerse using a Basic program. I am thinking of 2 Options. 1. Through ODBC - I am not sure whether it will be possible at all. Whether the UniVerse ODBC driver comes along with the basic Universe package. 2. Write a driver in C or C++, which can be called from the Basic program through GCI. If someone has any experience with this, I would be grateful if you can share the same. Thanks. Carol. _________________________________________________________________ Tired of spam?
