You did mean
OCONV(DATE(),"D2/")[1,2] for month, at least in the Western Hemisphere and [4,2] for the Eastern, right? ;-)

P.S. Many use OCONV(DATE(),"D2/")[7,2] for the month. I think DATE()"DM" is
the shortest way.
