I believe your going to need to recompile the source. For instance If I take pick source from our AIX Universe installation and try to run it on my Linux Universe installation at home, I have to compile the source.

We run a Sun UltraSparc server running SunOS (Solaris) 5.8 and UniVerse 10.0.18 in PICK format. A software supplier to one of our clients wishes to provide us with object code from their IBM AIX system running an unknown version of Universe, but more than likely a lower version. We don't believe that the Universe version will cause us any issues but are concerned about the object code being produced on a different platform and what issues we may experience because of it. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations? Many thanks Peter ------- u2-users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/ ------- u2-users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
