Users coming in via or via the same remote firewall/proxy server/router would all have the same IP address.

Since UniData isn't able to quickly tell me who's logged on where, I've had to create a LOGINS file to track where everyone is logged into. This tracking was inserted into our login process so we've worked-around the missing functionality. Can anyone tell me: 1) am I doing anything wrong in getting their IP addresses at login, and 2) why are some addresses internal to the local network while others are the IP address of the client's router? ------- u2-users mailing list u2-users@listserver.u2ug.org To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
