We are running 10.1.21 on Linux so not exactly the same as you but we have reported a bug in HASH.HELP for this exact failure. IBM has put it on an ecase to be fixed. Until it is you might consider using HASH.HELP.DETAIL which does not have this problem. HASH.HELP.DETAIL has two pages of output, the second of which is identical to that of HASH.HELP.
Hope this helps. We ended up running for a few days on our backup machine. In the mean time we rebuilt the production box (Firmware, AIX, UV and data restored) but still it does not look too stable. One of my tests are to do a HASH.HELP on the invoice file (because it previously bombed out). We get the following error with HASH.HELP KO.OP> HASH.HELP INVOICE-FILE Abnormal termination of UniVerse. Fault type is 11. Layer type is Command Language. Program "/usr/ibm/uv/bin/hash.help" terminated. [SIGSEGV] segmentation violation The core dump created is a zero length file. We are on AIX 5.3-06-02 and UV 10.1.17 running on a p52a firmware level sf240_320. Any pointers?
