I can't post this to U2-Community as I'm not subscribed so apologies for
posting here.
I remember the solipsistic and personal threads and do not miss them. I
much prefer and value the moderated list and have nothing but thanks and
appreciation (and a beverage of choice if your are ever in Sydney) for
all the moderators.
The moderators should step in and end the things you mention and the
only rule is "At the Moderator's Discretion".
Anyone in favour of a moderator free list should check some of the
bizarre and abusive threads on comp.databases.pick.
Are the current MI5 cross posts malicious? who knows.
