That's surprising - everything I can see about Vista from Microsoft indicates it's a home / client / workstation platform. It is not positioned anywhere as a server. To me this puts it in the same category as Windows 98. Until there is demand for W2008 I will not budge from XP or W2003 for anything related to multi-user applications and database servers. For client-side tool development I can only resist as long as there is no demand, and I'm hearing a lot more about "upgrades" to XP from Vista than "downgrades" to Vista.
