Did you flush your routing table & having you checked /etc/rc.net for manual "add route" commands?
You can also check your routing via: odmget -q name=inet0 CuAt If you have move than one NIC with different or incorrect routing, you may need to manually delete each and reconfigure. Best to do this stuff on the real console, as one mistake you've lost network connectivity to you server completely! [almost been there, done that!] :) Regards David -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob Witney Sent: Wednesday, 6 August 2008 8:15 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [U2] default gateway problem Ok I know that this is a tad of topic but I am hoping that those nice IBM chaps are monitoring We are on a Pseries running AIX 5.3 and Universe 10 We have changed out default gateway, I know, leave things alone I say, if its not broken don't fix it, but you know what there network techies are like, fiddle, fiddle, fiddle ------- u2-users mailing list [email protected] To unsubscribe please visit http://listserver.u2ug.org/
