Kevin, We have been running Unidata and Universe on a Windows 2008 virtual server for almost a year. You will need lots of memory and a new processor to handle the virtualization. The installation of Unidata and Universe was a breeze. As a matter of fact we crashed our virtual servers, not intentionally, today. We had all of them up and running in a few minutes.

If so, what considerations and concerns are there in this environment that are different from a dedicated Unidata server? (Yes, I searched the archive and didn't find anything that recent, so my apologies for asking a question that has been asked before.) -Kevin http://www.PrecisOnline.com _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list U2-Users@listserver.u2ug.org http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
