We've been using UV/Linux VMs for Dev and Test for a few years - no
issues.
Snapshots, brilliant! : For the dev/testing cycle, you can snapshot the
VM at a particular point, install your changes, do your testing and then
rollback to the previous point to install with any fixes and test again.
