We've been using UV/Linux VMs for Dev and Test for a few years - no issues. Snapshots, brilliant! : For the dev/testing cycle, you can snapshot the VM at a particular point, install your changes, do your testing and then rollback to the previous point to install with any fixes and test again. If so, what considerations and concerns are there in this environment that are different from a dedicated Unidata server? (Yes, I searched the archive and didn't find anything that recent, so my apologies for asking a question that has been asked before.) -Kevin http://www.PrecisOnline.com _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list [email protected] http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users ****************************************************************************************************** This email message and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of addressed recipient(s).
