To use that tool, he would have to be on the same subnet/network as the server (i.e. he would have to vpn into their system, or remote desktop/vnc/etc into a system they have over there that had the admin tool installed).
Having said that I think that's a great idea, the customer could setup a windows system with the admin tool installed and logmein/gotomypc/etc ....
