Looks good and I think it's great you're using the MIT license for the
samples.  I'm sure there will be situations where someone needs to get a
project up and running quickly and would benefit by be able to paste in
some working code.

One suggestion I have for the UOJ demos is to add some server-side
examples that would work on a Java app server like JBoss or Tomcat.
That's how we've always used UOJ (although via WebSphere) and based on
past threads, I suspect that's the norm.  I think companies in general
are wary of applets at this point given all the client-side java
security issues that have continued to crop up over the past few years.
We've completely disabled client-side java in our organization.
