I've noticed that this has changed in UD 6 with the TEMP variable. (see the AV thread wrt SB+).
There are a couple of keys in the registry that now seem to override the system TEMP setting, perhaps you are having a similar problem with the path. Check Hkey_current_user\environment and Hkey_Users\default\environment Perhaps one of them has a path that is overriding your system environment variable. hth -- Colin Alfke Calgary, Alberta Canada "Just because something isn't broken doesn't mean that you can't fix it" Stu Pickles >-----Original Message----- >From: Sara Burns [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: Wednesday, March 24, 2004 10:59 PM >To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' >Subject: UV on W2K3 - trying to add to path > > >We are starting our evaluation of running UniVerse on W2K3. >To get a feel >of what it will be like and to scope the learning we need to >do we have set >up a totally isolated W2K3 server (PDC) and have installed the personal >version of UniVerse while we wait for an NT version from IBM. > >I added to the System Environment variables an extension to the PATH = >c:\IBM\UV\BIN > >Problem - we do not get this in our telnet session.
