In order to use UniObjects for Java under .Net here's what you need to do.

1) Install vjredist.exe onto your machine, it's the redistributable package for J#

2) Look over this web page
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dv_vjsharp/html/vjgrfjavabinaryconverter.asp

3) Convert the asjava.zip and asjava_p.zip files to the micro$oft format. I chose to
combine them into one dll called asjava.dll.

3) reference the dll in your c# project and generally follow the java examples.

I've been using this for well over a year now. I have the advantage of a captive
audience for my apps which are all in house and not for public consumption. This
method has allowed me to produce some good little utilities for a Law Firm that needed
some windows based tools that could work with a UniVerse database.

Don,

Picked this up on your reply to the guy who thinks strong typing is a
virtue.

I would like to use C# against unidata what do I need to do this. I come
from a mvBase background and am a little lost in the U2 market.

Thanks much

There are only 10 people in the world who understand binary and I am not one
of them.
