Is your memory spiking just randomly before this happens? I have now seen a few times that some unknown memory spike will disable the service until it is restarted. Mine are also Ubuntu server 14 builds. I have a ticket with UBNT about it and they said the issue will be fixed in a future release of 3.5, although no timeframe is set. I’m interested if others are also experiencing this issue. Error logs sow a:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread This is followed by tomcat errors. I have access to the server via ssh and when it starts acting up i cant access the nvr interface locally. When i restart the unifi-video service via the CLI all will work fine for awhile.
