I just upgraded a backhaul link from old airgrid M5s to Powerbeam M5s running XW 5.6.9. This link runs from a main tower with a router on an OSPF ring to a remote repeater which is just bridged back to the main tower. The main tower has a mikrotik doing DHCP relay back to our powercode BMU DHCP server. The link has WDS enabled to make it transparent.
After upgrading the link, I have a problem where after some time, a few hours or a few days, the CPEs past the link (ubnt and ePMP) cannot renew their DHCP lease. Rebooting the backhaul radios fixes it. The remote tower just has a dumb switch and has been in service and stable for years with the previous airgrid link. The link has good signal and no signs of interference. Nothing unusual shows up in the logs on either end . Anyone seen this behavior or any ideas?
