This may be slightly off topic but only considering it because of peoples input on good performance of mixed ap mode on newer rocket prisms with the new firmwares. We have lots of 5.8 sectors with almost all nano beam m5s connected to them and have been wanting to migrate ac clients in the mix and upgrade the rockets aps to ac rocket prisms aps but waiting to pull that trigger until i saw some real world examples of mixed mode working well. So my question is if its lopsided and mostly just m5 beam clients and i migrate to ac clients as needed will the ac prism rockets aps perform just as well or better than our rocket ap m5s we currently have up? --------- Original Message --------- Subject: Re: [Ubnt_users] Firmware Releases From: [email protected] Date: 12/22/16 2:17 pm To: "James Craig" <[email protected]>, "Ubiquiti Users Group" <[email protected]>
James is there anything I have to be worried about before upgrading my network because I am still on 5.6.9 with powerbeams, nanostation, rocket m2/m5's.
