We upgraded over 1000 radios (well over 1000) from 5.x.* to 6.0bX with little
incident (maybe three radios did not come up after upgrade). Most of them came
up after customer cycled power.

We had to delay widespread adoption of 6.0b12 and below due to PPPOE issues.
Once they fixed that we upgraded all 5gig radios to 6.0b13,14,15 etc with
little incident. After all CPE were upgraded, we upgraded all our Rocket M5 ap
to Rocket-AC-Prism running 8.0bX (15,18,19).

The performance increase was pretty significant. The prisms outperform a
standard rocket by at least 50% (if not more).
Currently have 1400+ radios running mixed mode AC with great results.

All our CPE are in router mode getting wan ip via DHCP, except for business
customers where we use PPPOE to deliver routing information.

Currently going through the network replacing older M models (nanostation,
nanobridge, etc) with AC clients. AC performance is pretty amazing. Seeing 50,
60, 70 mbps on a loaded sector 20MHZ channel.

YMMV,
JP
