Input 48v is transformer isolated, individual on-board voltage converters have 
DC negative directly coupled to chassis ground. 


AF24 reads 0 ohms from board DC- (also digital ground) to chassis plate, “no” 
path between input DC- and chassis plate.


24HD shares the same PCB, so the same applies for that.

Hi,

Is the AF24's internal power supply isolated in such a way that it can 
be powered with -48VDC, like other telco equipment with a positive 
ground, or will this cause a short when mixed with other -48VDC 
equipment on the same ground plane?
