That's very gracious of you; thanks! I'm using this icon for now. The svg format is preferred; it isn't prohibitively large, and it's future-proof in case the size of toolbar buttons changes in future versions of Rhythmbox. I also used it on the Launchpad page :)
And now for the first time, deb packages of rbpitch are available for easy install on Ubuntu 10.10. The dependency packages are set as depends on the package, so you can just install it with Ubuntu Software Centre and it will grab any needed deps. 32 bit and 64 bit packages are separately available depending upon what you use. Feel free to witness your work in action, by downloading and trying rbpitch. The deb package install for Ubuntu 10.10 is exceedingly easy (100% GUI driven) :-) Installation instructions are at http://launchpad.net/rbpitch at the bottom of the description text.
