Hi Faisal, I am glad that it worked out so simple for you. Just for reference in future, if you read the solutions you were given, you will understand that kernel panic does not say what was the exact problem you were having. It is like telling the doctor "I got cough, now give me medicine". There are a lot of other symptoms may associated with the simple cough- fever, pain, and what not. Every one tried their best to give you different views- and it is possible that none of them were the right solution for the particular problem you were having. The reason I am writing this e-mail is, there is no simple solution for kernel panic. It can occur for different reasons, and each of them has different solutions at different difficulty levels.
