Hello, I was trying to remotely connect to a fedora server from ubuntu using the port 445, but the SeLinux there is blocking that port. Questions are:
1. I have root access to that Fedora box as well but I can't set /etc/selinux/config as permissive (That's a productivity box and that's not the way you handle a productivity tool). So I need the SeLinux policy for letting that 445 port to pass through. Anybody up for guiding me to write that policy? 2. Tried changing the port but the blocking range is 440~450. I can't use any other port rather than in between a range of 440~450 for a special purpose. In this situation is there any way to bypass that SeLinux security layer? 3. Does HotSSH run on your machine? Thanks in advance, Salam. -- Regards- Junayeed Ahnaf Nirjhor Twitter - @nirjhor Homepage - http://nirjhor.wordpress.com -- Ubuntu Bangladesh https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bd
