I confirm this bug.

I upgraded to Intrepid last week, and now I no longer have wireless
connectivity. (And since I have no ethernet connection, I have to work
in Windows. *grrr*)

What happens is this. I use a hex password to connect to a wireless
router. There is now no "hex password" option in the username/password
screen. Plus, after I copy and paste my password into the field and
later go back to it, the hex string has changed to a different hex
string.

Both green dots light up in the applet, and the mouseover tells me it is
waiting for a network address. It never does connect.

The current design should NOT be part of the general release -- it is
totally broken.

Suggestions for a workaround so I can get my internet going again would
be welcome.
