I'm getting the same problem as this, being caused by the .thumbnails folder. I've got thousands of images archived for storage and recently extracted them. This caused nautilus to use up 100% cpu even when all folders are closed. The only thing I can do is delete .thumbnails and nautilus behaves again.
Is there a setting somewhere to stop it generating thumbnails when I don't want it to? -- Nautilus: 100% CPU-Usage after login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272317 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
