I see that exactly that *is* the problem. Many people did hard work to translate gcc. And now in a new version there are the translations not there any more. Of course this is a problem with launchpad if the translation files don't go into the upstream project automatically so that the translation get used also for newer version.
Would be great if a dev could look at this. It is a waste of resources if this isn't done automatically.
