Matthias, it's not a problem of new source. It's a problem of whether Ubuntu is going to ship "many packages which introduce a new source" in the same version (distroseries). Message sharing _was_ designed to support sharing between eg. hardy/evolution-2.22 and intrepid/evolution-2.24.
We can consider enabling message sharing for multiple packages in the same distroseries, but other than gcc, what else would use it? -- A lot of previous gcc translations aren't used in gcc-4.3 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/303559 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
