Thank you for reporting this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better! We
have recently moved your bug report from the distribution "update-
manager" to the Ubuntu package "update-manager", because this is the
correct place to report issues about this program. For this reason, all
the subscribers have received an email in which it seems that the status
for this report has been set to "invalid". However this is only a
misunderstanding since, as you can see in the yellow line on the top of
the page, the status is still "new".
I've tried to reproduce this issue, but it works great for me using
Ubuntu 8.10 . I've tried both to in horizontal and vertical
orientation, and it worked as expected. Which specific steps should I
take in order to reproduce this problem?
