forgot to say I have the problem on both 64-bit and 32-bit computers with Jaunty Beta. Didn't have before. I have dvdcss installed.
-- vlc does not play commercial dvd after upgrade from Hardy Heron to Intrepid Ibex. It plays about 10 minutes and then crashes.
