Oh, thanks for spotting this. I'll update that part of the MIR.
I'm fine maintaining it in Ubuntu as I'll be the main user of it anyway.

LTSP doesn't use /etc/X11/Xsession.d on the thin client so that won't
affect us in our case. That script could be dropped from the package if
it's causing any trouble but I don't expect it to be installed in
non-LTSP environment.
