Hmm. If we only suggest to the user that they install Empathy if they
have Pidgin installed, then I don't think this is really suitable for
Janitor: it's better handled by the dependencies of ubuntu-desktop, and
anyone who doesn't have ubuntu-desktop installed has removed it
themselves and presumably know what they are doing.

Thus I only see a point in this plugin if we also suggest removal of
Pidgin.

I wrote a quick prototype, as yet untested, which I'll attach to this
bug report. The relevant lines:

                if (oldpkg.isInstalled and 
                    not newpkg.isInstalled and
                    newpkg.candidate.downloadable):
                    yield computerjanitor.MissingPackageCruft(newpkg)
                    yield computerjanitor.PackageCruft(oldpkg)
