Great work Collin that works!
Though I had some misunderstanding when filing this bug initially. This
logic is also need in Ubiquity. As the factory install process for
standard Ubuntu inside Dell uses Ubiquity and not the debian installer
(my bad, point of confusion with different Ubuntu type releases).
Instead of opening a new bug I'll put as also effect Ubiquity.
