Binary package hint: evince
any pdf files that are opened, are not zoomed sufficiently.
- an A4 sized pdf opens on 100% zoom to a page of 4"x2" (on a 32inch 136-x768
screen)
+ an A4 sized pdf opens on 100% zoom to a page of 2"x3" approx. (instead of 8.3
× 11.7in ) (on a 32inch 136-x768 screen)
the 400% zoom results in pages of approximately of standard size (1:1 ratio)
i'm using ubuntu karmic 9.10 with Evince 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2, using
poppler 0.12.0-0ubuntu2.1 (cairo)
