Actually, I was only partly correct in my assessment of my inability to access the requested files. When I first attempted to look at them I picked the one which is marked as "no read": 'apt-term.log.' The others are accessible and I will attach those four here now, while asking for advice on how to proceed with 'apt-term.log.'
The four easily accessible files are 'apt.log,' 'main.log,' 'term.log' and 'xorg_fix_intrepid.log.' The first of these: 'apt.log' I will attach here.
