sorry, the Me Menu is in Lucid. You are running the version of Ubuntu One in 
the PPA. I am not sure how, if at all you are supposed to access the Ubuntu One 
panel. You can run 'ubuntuone-preferences' from the Terminal. You could create 
a launcher  and put it on your desktop or add it to your panel. Right click on 
the panel and select 'Add to Panel' then 'Custom Application Launcher' and the 
command would be 'ubuntuone-preferences'. It even comes up with a U1 icon.  I 
think the PPA versions development went into the Lucid version and they 
unwittingly failed to consider what this would do to the other PPA users.  The 
Ubuntu One team is aware of this, not sure what or if any fix is expected. 
Other than the workaround i proposed the other option is to remove the PPA and 
install ubuntuone-client 1.0.3 from the repository, it still has an applet.
