Juan Pablo, I had it running all right, I installed it first using the synaptic package manager in ubuntu 9.10. Then an update for tomcat was proposed and I did it. and that was the last time it worked, I think it was because the ip adress was changed in the tomcat update. Then I try using appliances such as vmwre, and virtual box. It install ok, but in he end when I try to run it in the browser it does not work. Now I have to write an ip adress in the browser instead of "localhost" but it does not work, "could find the page" is what I got. I assigned 512 mb ram for the virtual appliances. Thanks for the help.
