Robin, Looking at your log your syncdaemon.conf has a bunch of \x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00\x00. Could you please try the following
1. Quit Ubuntu One. Then stop the syncdaemon by opening a Terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and running: u1sdtool -q 2. Run this command in the Terminal: sudo gedit /etc/xdg/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf 3. It looks like you need to delete the first line. (It might be blank spaces) The first line in the file should be: [__main__] 4. Save the file and then start Ubuntu One. Report back and let us know how it goes. thank you, duanedesign -- Ubuntu One client UI doesn't launch, connect or ask me to add my computer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/571711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
