Totally lost me here.  Are you saying that Microsoft does not have one? 
  I mean Windwos 7 is much more stable than Vista, if a bit of a memory 
hog.  Mac has a very stable desktop.  However, the things underneath 
change every version, so some instructions have to change as well.

Maybe your OS of choice has the same bugs as Linux, but the difference 
being that you know those bugs.
