Also note that the happy accidental removal of the AuthInfo directive didn't hold; it only disappeared momentarily when I wrote comment #3 but now it's back again, and has been for some time. (I have lived with entering my credentials every time I print something, even though I have Kerberos authentication enabled and a valid Kerberos ticket.)
