Ah and what I was doing while this occurred? - I had about 2 to 3 windows of Swiftfox open - was running Synaptic manager - Terminal was running - had Thunderbird open - Text editor was running - was installing Kopete
However, it seems to me that I often get system crashes when: a) a download takes longer than usual b) I'm installing a program Since system crash when a) happens, is more likely to occur than b), could this be related to some network component or network issue? P.S. I really wish more users bothered to report a bug. There're so many issues being complained about in the Feisty fawn section of the Ubuntu forums! Also, if anyone can, please edit my first post to remove all the pasted logs.
