I cannot run pulse audio because, I keep getting this error:
module.c: Failed to open module "module-hal-detect": file not found

I will try to attach the log file that I have attached here to the bug
as well.

  My Logitech cam has a input mic. The system was working fine till a recent 
update and then I have lost ability to increase/decrease volume. I cannot also 
record my daughter's spanish class homework using the logitech microphone 
anymore.
