Yes. The only difference it sounds like we have is that you are using grub-efi but I am still using grub-pc to boot. I get odd frequency scaling numbers, you get the kernel choosing the wrong minimum. I also can't suspend with usb 3 enabled. I guess I'll have to try switching to grub-efi.
