Grub EFI I think? I've left the grub installation from the previous install and it seems to work fine with the ASUS EFI.
Have you updated your EFI to ver. 1053? I'll try resetting to defaults and see what freq.scaling does. (Luckily ASUS can save OC profile for later...) It would be frustrating to learn that this isn't a bug and is just a glitch with my particular install. What's the easiest way to re- configure/purge all of the frequency scaling settings?
